Macurco RD-VRF Refrigerant Monitor

The Macurco RD-VRF Refrigerant Gas Detector provides continuous monitoring for refrigerant leaks in VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems and related applications. Leaks can pose serious risks, from oxygen depletion to potential explosion with combustible refrigerants. To mitigate these hazards, the RD-VRF features two programmable alarm levels and two onboard relays for automatic safety responses—such as isolating refrigerant lines, activating ventilation, and triggering alarms. With standard Modbus RS-485 communication, it easily integrates with Building Management Systems (BMS) for centralized monitoring. Designed specifically for VRF systems, the RD-VRF supports code compliance while improving safety and reliability in commercial, hospitality, educational, and healthcare settings.
